Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins is a Mexican-American sportscaster. She is employed by ESPN and is a SportsCenter News Anchor. Her first job at ESPN in the year 2016. She's the daughter of TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta was bilingual by when she was nine years old. The ability which helped her obtain her first role as a Univision producer assistant Miami. In Miami, she collaborated with producers for national shows such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Following this it was announced that the CBS affiliate in St. Petersburg employed her as a reporter for sports. Then, in 2009 the reporter relocated into Rio Grande Valley Texas where she was employed by KNVO TV 48 Univision as well as Fox2 News. The stories she wrote about covered immigration drugs, immigration, as well as other issues on both the Texas as well as the Mexico border. Also, she was a Spanish reporter on the newscast of 5 p.m., an anchor and reporter for the newscast of 9 p.m. with a reporter and anchor in English and again also a Spanish reporter at 10 p.m. In addition, she was frequently asked to serve as a weather and sports anchor. Antonietta Collins' grandparents were originally from Veracruz Mexico. Her birth date was November 22nd on the 22nd of October, 1985 in Mexico City. There is an older sister. In 1992 her family left Mexico and moved to Miami. Her parents divorced shortly thereafter and, in the year 1995, she got married to a naval designer named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died in 2006 due to kidney cancer. In June of the year 2006, Antonietta spent one week with her sibling in Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl was working at the time. As a senior in high school but having a clear vision of what she wanted to do with her life Antonietta was able to visit at the University of Mount Union to determine if the school was suitable for her preferences. The result was that she enjoyed the university as well as the fact that it offered the major she wanted. She graduated from high school and enrolled into media school at the University. Mark Bergmann - her professor and managing director at WRMU (91.1 FM) which was where she felt at home. Her professor urged her to have self-confidence and was deeply touched by his enthusiasm for journalism.
